Medicine Woman Maria Teresa and the gift of the obsidian Egg 7-days of female wisdom and empowerment
Maria Teresa is a mexican medicine woman trained in working with the obsidian egg and the Omi. The Omi is a belly ornament that protects and regulates energy through the navel. She is also the zihucoatl of Abuela Mary Carmen, which means she has dedicated herself to assisting in healing processes. In this course, designed specifically for women, Teresa will pass on the traditional wisdom she has learned from the grandmothers of Mexico. She will talk with you about how to set up an altar, the meaning of each direction, the elements, and their colors. She will also share various ways to cleanse and harmonize your own energy and the energy of spaces. Together with you, she will create an intimate and profound space for women’s work. The week is for anyone who wants to reconnect with her rich feminine heritage, tap into her inner strength, and embark on a journey of self-healing through awareness. The course offers a sacred exchange of knowledge, creativity, love, and empowerment.
Program:
- Day 1: The geometry of the pendulum and Omi obsidian.
- Day 2: The obsidian egg: the awakening of the goddess.
- Day 3: Feminine wisdom, archetypes, and the moon diagram.
- Day 4: The menstrual cycle in relation to the moon
- Day 5: The legend of the dreamcatcher and a creative workshop to make your own dreamcatcher.

María Teresa: I am a proud Mexican medicine woman and am deeply grateful for the wisdom passed down by Mexican grandmothers. I work alongside Grandmother Mary Carmen as Ciuacoatl—a name derived from the Aztec goddess of fertility—and assist in the healing process. After my personal journey of healing and growth, it is a great privilege to offer the gift of the obsidian egg and feminine wisdom in this gathering of women. At Lothlorien, we are very happy that Teresa will be visiting us again. Last summer, during the One Planet-One People week, she made a huge impression on us with her spontaneity and her dedication to empowering women. The week will be conducted in English and is easy to follow even if your English isn’t very strong.
