Ayurveda Wellness retreat. A relaxing week in which you will be introduced to Ayurveda according to Indian tradition, learn about aspects that influence the cleansing of your body, and experience various detox methods.
By Richard Slager
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic healing method. It looks at each individual to find the cause of imbalances and restores balance by removing excess substances and replenishing deficiencies. This Ayurveda wellness retreat, you will follow a half-day program to learn about Ayurveda and detox in a relaxing way, while also getting started with detoxing your body yourself. You will learn about different aspects and methods so that you can safely start detoxing at home or follow a simple detox regimen.
There are various trends in Ayurveda today, such as undergoing massage, following a vata, pitta, or kapha diet, or even Ayurvedic cooking. Although they all undoubtedly have a beneficial effect, these are just the “icing on the cake.” If you really want to be healthy, you need to take a close look at all your physical and mental habits. Even a detox only has a temporary effect if you do nothing about the cause of your health problems. In this retreat, you will learn about the basics of Ayurveda, which are not covered in most places. Build solid foundations for a healthy and happy life!
