This week the children will go on an adventure with Richard Slager (1985). Richard has been coming to Lothlorien since 2002 and has organized many children’s weeks at Lothlorien. He knows all the special places on and around Centre Lothlorien and takes the children on an imaginative story in this adventurous environment. Meanwhile, Richard himself is father of 2 children. This week we are under the spell of the theme The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

About Hobbits, Elves, Dwarfs, Humans and Wizards
While the hobbits live their carefree lives, evil enemies begin to spread across the rest of the world. A meeting is held between Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Wizards to discuss how the forces of good can prevail. Things don’t look good, but there is hope. It appears that the One Ring of the enemy has been found. If it can be destroyed in the land where it was made, the enemy can still be defeated. But this journey is fraught with danger. Who are the brave heroes who dare to embark on this adventure?
