In the peaceful, inspiring and nature-rich surroundings of Centre Lothlorien, we use Indian meditation techniques to achieve relaxation and return to our deepest selves.
By Pinky More and Richard Slager.
Yoga is a familiar concept these days. The focus is mainly on body positions and the practice often does not go beyond the classroom. At Centre Lothlorien, we teach Indian Classic Yoga, Yoga as it is taught in India. Here, Yoga is ‘A Way of Life’.
This week is about relaxation and reflection. While we all engage with awareness and personal development in some way, we often don’t dwell on this long enough to really change anything in our lives. The surroundings of Centre Lothlorien are a true walking paradise. With lots of forest, vast fields, lakes, streams and valleys and above all no human beings to be seen, it is easy to really come back to yourself.
– Yoga as it is taught in India;
– Exploration of the beautiful, soothing natural surroundings;
– Personalised attention and exercises tailored to you;
– Practical tips on how to apply Yoga in everyday life;
– Less than 1 day away by car;
– An idyllic French estate in France’s Champagne-Ardenne region;
Activities take place Monday to Friday in the morning from 09:30 to 12:30 and include workshops, Asanas and Pranayama. Each day you will go out for a meditative walk. You can also participate in Yoga classes in the morning from 07:30 to 08:30.
The week is taught in English.
